WATCH – TIME TO QUIT? –
Oct. 6, 2021 – Jablin is encouraging others who are facing addiction of any kind to challenge themselves in October.
“Every day you’re starting a new day of ‘Let me try going through this day without that.’ ‘Let me let go,’ and you actually start putting in different practices, healthy practices, spiritual practices and focusing on your mind, your body and your emotions,” Jablin said.
What Jablin found in his recovery and others he has helped and coached, are changes mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
“You’re going to see so much change from the pigment of your skin to the white in your eyes, to the wrinkles in your forehead, and under your eyes. To the mental clarity and a feeling of well-being,” Jablin explained. “It’s not when you let something go, you feel like something is being taken away from you, when you let something go, something is being given to you. That’s something I want people to discover. It’s not a feeling of loss, it’s a feeling of gain.”
Jablin said after being sober 15 years, it has been worth the challenge and he’s now empowered to help others change their lives, one day at a time.
