FOR A VERY GOOD CAUSE –

Oct. 2, 2024 – The 17th Annual Polo in the Palisades, held at the breathtaking Will Rogers State Historic Park, was a spectacular success. With over 600 attendees and more than $750,000 raised, the event showcased the community’s dedication to supporting Miriam’s House Los Angeles, a nonprofit sober living home for women and their children. Chairwoman Patricia Meyers and Executive Director Brenda Valiente led the charge in organizing this remarkable day of philanthropy, entertainment, and community support.

Honorees

Distinguished Service in the Field of Recovery: Miles Adcox

Miles Adcox, Chairman and Owner of Onsite, was honored for his transformative work in emotional wellness and trauma treatment, which has changed countless lives.

Spirit of Miriam’s House: Brad Lamm

Interventionist and author, Brad Lamm, was recognized for his dedication to helping families in crisis, with over 1,300 families transformed by his work, reflecting the core values of Miriam’s House.

Partners in Service Award: MusiCares

MusiCares was recognized for its partnership in promoting health and recovery within the music community, closely aligning with the mission of Miriam’s House.

Lifetime Achievement Award: Dr. Louise Stanger

Dr. Louise Stanger, an internationally renowned clinician and interventionist, was celebrated for her decades of leadership in the recovery field, making an enduring impact on families and individuals worldwide.
